How Does the TTA Protect Customer Money?

The TTA arrangements are designed so that, if a member ceases trading, the booked services can be provided where possible or the protected customer money can be used towards the appropriate refund or alternative arrangements.

Where ATOL protection applies to a booking made through Business Flight Shop, the customer will receive an ATOL Certificate explaining:
ATOL protection does not apply to every travel service available through Business Flight Shop.
The customer’s ATOL Certificate, where issued, confirms the services protected by the ATOL scheme.
An ATOL Certificate is issued where a booking is protected by the ATOL scheme.
It confirms what is protected and identifies the relevant ATOL holder.
